Day 20 - printing iron on transfer papers - Peace and Quiet

Well again I had no iron on tranfer paper to use on fabric so used cardstock again! I did use vellum again for the clocks.
This LO is really not how I would do a LO so it was really good to step out of my box! It has certainly made me use my sewing machine again and I love that aspect!

Day 19 Printing decorative strips on sticky tape/acetate or card - A Passion

I'm afraid I took the easy option yesterday and printed on card. At sometime when I am brave enough to give my self some stress I will try sticky back plastic to do this but needed to make sure I didn't mess up my printer just now!! Of course I have several passions but collecting troll beads is one of them as well as my other jewellery and shoes !

Day 18 - Printing and using chipboard - Friendship

I just had to use our 2nd 365 retreat photo. Such a fabulous set of new friends that I have made on UKS. We are always there for each other daily! to share problems, joys, heart aches , scrapping and more importantly chatting !!

Day 17-printing your own paper and using diecuts

Loved doing this LO. We had to print our own paper and use it with diecuts. I don't have many but used the punches for the flowers and used sizzix alphas for the word 'wonderful' We once again had to journal by hand straight onto the cardstock! getting use to this now:)
The photo was from our holiday in 2006...how i have changed LOL!!

Day 16-printing on embossed cardstock and sanding

Today we were supposed to print our designs on embossed cardstock and sand, I'm afraid I printed on plain cardstock instead !

Loved doing this although I normally never use paint! it came together so easily, definitely a stress free day :)

Day -14 - Printing out more embellishments - Weather

We had to use a lot of buttons (which aren't sewn on yet! to be done at my leisure!) and include 4 cardstock printed circles. Then we were to journal round the circle.

Day 14 -printing and using embellishments- Nature

After printing out this frame we had to cut, tear and distress the edge and then hand journal onto the cardstock.

Day 13 -printing and distressing - Nature

I really enjoyed doing this. We had to print on top of a photo if we wished. The journalling cards and film strip were then printed on white card and then distressed, I used a light pink ink and then a darker ink for the edges of the cardstock.

Day 11 -stitching on printing Seasons

Oh dear I am 3 days behind and this was Monday's class LOL!
I really enjoyed getting my machine out and trying all the fancy embroidery stitches I haven't used for years. Thank you Shimelle for Monday's class xx
OK for those of you who notice, we haven't had Autumn this year but the photo was from Oct /Nov 2008!

Day 10 - distressed printing after using acrylic paint- LOVE in my life

Well this took quite a lot of stress as every time I painted a page as when I printed on top my print wasn't in the right place! Finally did the love bit but forgot to print 'draft' so it isn't faint !!, but used it and scraplifted most of the rest of the LO. Couldn't wait for my glossy accent on the apple heart to dry clear so took the photo anyway LOL!
At the end of the day I like what I achieved and a tribute to my DH XX married 24yrs xx

Day 8 -printing on fabric again - Home

I was pleased to be able to print onto counted thread fabric easily having attached the fabric to A4 paper first in a similar way to the ribbon method. Then my printer gave me some grief...the heads needed cleaning!!

Day 7 -printing on ribbon - Reading

Well I managed to print on cotton twill ribbon but didn't like it so left it off and forgot to print on cardstock and didn't realise until just now!
Have added the ribbon again instead as this is a learning curve but no photo!!

Day 6 Printing layers Coffee and tea time

Messed up the vellum sheet so printed on cardstock only!

Front Cover

I am doing a 4 week class called GO TO PRESS on my simple pleasures in my life.

It is four weeks to turn my printer into my own personal printing press and learn to use different mediums and different ideas to print.

Today was printing onto cardstock some very pretty 'cross stitch' title and date for the front cover
